about

Full Moon Surprise #64

Employing some help from Mother Superior, in this month’s track we explore the differences in time light takes to travel between the surface of the Moon and the surface of the Earth, at the extreme orbital points of Apogee and Pedigee. That we do this using sound is, well, pretty much par-for-the-course in the Full Moon Music Club scientific community.

about

Thomas Truax Birmingham, UK

"Thomas Truax crafts rich, poetically evocative songs about insects, trees, technology, and a lifelong obsession with all things lunar. He travels the world performing with his "band" of bizarre self-made instruments including a motorized drum machine made with bike wheels and a souped-up Gramophone called 'The Hornicator', as well as his venerable guitar 'Hank'.
