We’re going to venture out to the city center where the shoppers roam

The vagrant, the pregnant
The rabbit and the egg hunt

A busker, a beggar
A lost astronaut

The floating looney toons
The birthday kid’s balloons

The Hummers and Humdingers
The pomegranate fingers

We’re viewin it all through the window
Of Lunar Luke’s Cafe
You and I just watch the world go by
We’re kinda lucky today

The Barkers and The bikers
Industrial Action Strikers

The paper sign protesters
The conscientious objectors

We watch the pigeons as they eat
Blue chips and vomit off the street

And the ten-strong hen party cackles
In their ramshackle sparkles

A low flying cloud
It explodes on the ground

Now everyone is runnin
(and some of them are laughin)
As everybody is nearly instantly
Soaked through to the skin

The astronaut’s off flying
The soap box is foaming
The prams extend their plastic covers
Everyone is running for cover

The gutter runs with glitter
The pigeons rise and flutter
Their dinner washed down river
Now Everyone has disappeared
